Had a LivingSocial Voucher that I wanted to use before going on a trip next week. Pleasantly surprised. Location was close to home so another plus. Irina and Danny were the ones working this evening. They were very friendly, helpful and gave great suggestions. I opted for the Totally Turkey Wrap with chips and a 24 oz Acai Berry Boost Smoothie (Acai, Pomegranate, Banana, Blueberries and Strawberries). Added flax seed for 79 cents more. Calina got the Chipotle Chicken Club (Chicken, Pepper Jack, Bacon, Romaine, Tomatoes & Chipotle Mayonnaise on a Toasted Flatbread) with the 24 oz Island Green Smoothie (Spinach, Kale, Mango, Pineapple & Banana). Added whey protein for 79 cents more and a bag of chips. The turkey wrap had a really good amount of turkey and was very good. The chipotle chicken club was also delicious and both the smoothies were very tasty. The total came out to $20.05--what a great deal for all the food we got!! They also have noodle bowls which I want to try next time. Everything on the menu was $6.99 or less. They also have a Breakfast Happy Hour where you get 50% off smoothies between 0700 and 0900 am. Plenty of free parking too.

Three stars only because the smoothies are awesome. Love the variety. Sandwiches were thin on fillings and the bread was oversized and dry. I took a slice off and just folded the remaining slice in half. Fillings still didn't make a sandwich. I had the chicken salad. The salad itself was good but was only a tablespoon.

Awesome for morning smoothie. All smoothies are half price between 7-9 am and if you get one of their cups you get another 50 cents off so only $2.13 for smoothie. Can't beat it.

Great place. Really fast fresh sandwiches and smoothies. Great to get this combo especially after a workout. Tucked away in shopping center with nothing but ten minute parking spots for some reason. Service is always great and they have some good deals, combos, and coupons at time. Can get great sandwich and full size smoothie for $7 to $8.

Free strawberry/banana smoothie to celebrate National Flip Flop Day!? Oh, this is my kinda place! It is a rare day in summer when I'm not sporting flip flops, so when my good friend Tiffany N posted about free smoothies when you show them your flip flops, I knew this would be the day I try them! My husband had the free strawberry banana and I ordered the lime-something for myself. I appreciate that they post their calories for easy reference, and the flavor was good. I enjoyed my smoothie but it wasn't really anything special to me. The space was easy to find, clean and employees were nice. I probably would have given them a 3 star rating (A-OK), but to be fair I only tried 2 smoothies on this visit. My best friend loves this place and raves about how fresh their other menu items are, so I will be back to try them when I'm feeling the need for a "light" lunch.

After a Froyo place closed down in this shopping center, out came Tropical Smoothie Cafe. This place's staff is A+ friendly. Think of it as your friendly local lemonade stand but a store and with some delicious food. I have constantly ordered the Hawaiian Breeze over and over again. It's that good! So far, I have tried the Jamaican jerk chicken wrap. Tastes more like an enchilada than Jerk flavoring but regardless still pretty good! I will be trying the other wraps next time. Even one of my friends from out of town said "Screw Jamba Juice! They have nothing on this place!" That speaks volumes! Till next time!

I've seen these popping up all over so I thought I'd give them a try one day. Then a $0.99 coupon for a smoothie showed up and I figured it was as good a time as any. I walked in on Friday morning around 10:30, two employees working and one other customer waiting for his drink. Neither employee greeted me, one went in back and the other stood there waiting for me to place an order. She seemed beyond annoyed that I had no clue what I wanted so I quickly picked something, ordered and paid. She disappeared without saying anything more than the total of the smoothie to me. I received my smoothie and I was still trying to read through the enormous menu when I noticed that it tells you they add Turbinado sugar to all smoothies. What the hell? Why are you adding sugar to a smoothie that is made up of only fruit? It was a terribly sweet smoothie that I drank maybe 3 sips of before tossing it. I'll be sticking to smoothies at home and to places that don't add unnecessary sugar to items that certainly don't need it. For a "healthy" food place this doesn't fit the bill. I was expecting more healthy smoothies, vegetables added perhaps. Obviously not sugar.

This place has it right: while getting your breakfast smoothie, you get a combo discount for getting your lunch salad to go! Save time, eat healthy, and save money? YES YES and YES.

I come here a lot for happy hr smoothies and usually the service is quick. However, whenever I come here at lunch, it takes at least 15 min for anything to be made. Seems like the staff is always new and there's never a manager around.

Food was ok, but service was pitiful. My mom and I visited today for lunch and arrived at 11:30. (Not lunch rush) There were four teenagers already waiting for their smoothies when I gave my lunch order. I was dissapointed to learn that if I didn't want a smoothie with my lunch then I would have to choose from bottled coke, bottled sweet tea, or overpriced smart water. After I gave my order a woman appeared from the back and told everyone else waiting in line that they wouldn't be able to take any more orders until they finished "making all the food for everyone else." All that food turned out to be 4 smoothies. It's going to be really hard to stay in business if you can't handle 4 smoothie orders. After a 10 minute wait my Thai Chicken Salad Wrap arrived. However, I had ordered the salad. I didn't dare say anything for fear it would take another 10 minutes. The wrap came with what tasted like pre-packaged goopy pasta salad and only about an ounce of it. My mom originally wanted the fruit side that they offer with meals but was told that would either be a banana or an orange, her choice. She chose chips instead. While we ate there we also observed two individuals that had been waiting for their smoothies for quite some time, only for the woman to come out and finally tell them she couldn't make them because they were out of Spinach. I noticed on their menu they state that all their smoothies are made with Turbinado sugar. Sorry, but you can't claim to be healthy and then add sugar to an already naturally sweetened smoothie. Nice try. While the prices are low, the portions are small. A small wrap, an ounce of goopy pasta salad and a smart water were not worth $10. As we got up to leave, the woman said, "Thanks ladies, see you tomorrow." I laughed out loud.

Waited 15 minutes during lunch break for the worst salad I have ever ordered. Had to throw it away it was so bad, will never return.

Good smoothies. Incredibly slow service. I was the only person in the store and I waited more than 15 minutes for my order.

This place rocks! While I don't indulge in smoothies that much, I've tried to make smoothies at home but they never turn out as good as the real thing. So every now and then it's a nice way to treat yourself and it's healthy so really it's a win-win. I've been to this place twice now and both times have been an excellent experience, it's basically Cherry Creek HS kids making the smoothies but they are nice and quick. Their smoothies come in 24 oz cups but you can order a kids for half the size and price which is excellent when you want a small sweet treat! They also have a food menu there with wraps and salads, the usual smoothie place kind of menu with healthy fare (you can sign up for updates and specials via text). Like I said before, I don't go for smoothies too often but I'm happy that Tropical Smoothie Cafe is in DTC, it's a great place to stop on a warm day or when you want an after dinner treat!

I've never tasted anything I didn't like from here. Right now I'm drinking a Peanut Paradise from here and its delicious. They're very creative and will make just about anything you ask. I think it beats Jamba Juice as well as any other smoothie place I've been to. :)

I typically don't drink smoothies but I happen to be in the area and stopped by to try something new. They use Turbinado sugar which is all natural sugar instead of other places that use processed sweeteners. However, they do offer splenda options too if you are counting calories. But I was excited to see that they were all natural as I try to eat as clean as possible. I had their Island Green smoothie without the bananas and it was spectacular! I definitely will be back to this place!

Never had issues with tropical smoothie but just stopped in and the woman working first thing, blurted out "our systems are down, we are only doing one smoothie per person"then walked in the back. Uh what? Well me and my husband wanted something fast because we were out with our 4 day old newborn for a doctors appointment. You failed us tropical smoothie, your employee may have kept our business if she would have explained what she was talking about and didn't walk away from us while we were standing there confused.
